I fully understand the frustration on this, I really do. The e621 staff enjoys and celebrates our community of human artists, and that has never changed. So I ask, please do not take out your frustrations on my staff. They had no say in the matter, and none of them wanted any involvement with e6ai.

The short tag NPC descriptors were one of the best things BITD taught me. Add a goal / drive if you need it and it’s amazing how hard you can play somebody in a scene.

I had to remind myself several times that I was looking at physical models. it's *forever* since i've had to really sit and figure out how stuff was done! bitd we modelmakers would watch a film dissecting the fx as we went, but cg mostly took that away.

In addition to the (I think forthcoming ?) ‘Against the Star Master’ already mentioned, there was previously also a ‘Sci-Fi HARP’ which I think was a simplified RM/SM derivative. Always meant to check it out - I loved the SpaceMaster 1st and 2nd Ed setting BITD - but never got round to it

World of Dungeons: not sure if it's a game and not a proof of concept. You need to know how to run OSR and PbtA/BitD, but in that case you probably have a system that works for you.

I agree that this seems to be the ideal of a BiTD campaign. However, in practice I struggle to get my player to proactively engage in the faction elements of the game (a lack of sufficient hooks/knowledge?), making the game nothing more than a string of cool action sequences. Any ideas for a fix?
