Some Bitterleaf white tea and namestorming during kitten cuddles. Poe is still leading the poll, though Moira was close for a minute. I need to get her some purple stuff and some bat stuff.

Bitterleaf 2025 White Crow for a partner today. It’s reminding me of farms, pumpkin patches, and the autumn harvest so I’m a big fan. Hay notes with that darker kind of wildflower/meadow honey. Corn mazes and hay bales.

The best season is here and I am very excited.

it is gong fu time while i knit and listen to my audiobook and hope to get back to a semblance of human shape

just grabbed a random ball from The Jar and landed on Natural Habitat, so far very sweet and not kicking me in the face quite as much as i'd like but it's still very nice.

"That acid isn't going to uh. Kill that guy, right?" "Mm? Oh. Probably not." "Probably?" "He'll be fine unless he's allergic to rhubarb. Even then, it was a tiny dose. The worst that will happen is a slight rash and maybe a few blisters." "It ate through his clothing, Viktoria." "Of course, it had to eat through the fabric to get to his skin. What good would it be otherwise?" "How many more of those vials do you have? Does my dad know you brought them with you?" Lucille tried to keep her voice down, hissing into Viktoria's fluffy ear. Turning her head slightly, Viktoria lifted up the flap on her bag. Inside, nestled in pieces of old newspaper, were three more vials of the acid, along with a few other small jars of unknown concoctions. She then neatly closed the bag with an innocent look on her face. "Of course Doctor Frost knows. He wanted to make sure that we are both safe. Look, that boy deserved what he got. Let it be a lesson to him."

What TV Tropes calls "the Heroic Comedic Sociopath". The character who's on the side of the good guys in the big picture, but still a murderous bastard.

And funny, because that excuses all the other stuff. Obviously.
