Leaving #BledStrategicForum with mixed feelings.
Business called for more Europe. National leaders blamed migration for the EU failing.
Asked if @volteuropa.org vision is too optimistic, I wondered: Who else has one? We need European parties, because
Benjamin Franklin put it right: “Join, or die.”

How can Europe strengthen democracy and withstand growing challenges?

SG @alain-berset.coe.int will bring this message to #BledStrategicForum 2026, while reaffirming support for Ukraine and engaging with European leaders on the future of democratic security.

Very happy to speak at #BledStrategicForum on Europe becoming a strategic power. 🇪🇺

Europe has two choices: unite or be torn apart. The far right pushes isolation while national parties defend the status quo.

We need European parties pushing integration. @VoltEuropa is the first.

Two great days at the #BledStrategicForum #BSF2025
💚 for Slovenia 🇸🇮 & @nmusar pushing topics & values
💚 great panel on EU identity
💚 EU pep talk from accession candidates
❔ just a timid yes from Kaja Kallas if EU has geopolitical weight
❔ where was western Europe?

At the 20th #BledStrategicForum in Slovenia, @eucopresident.consilium.europa.eu emphasised that Western Balkan countries aspiring to join the European Union must transcend historical conflicts to forge a shared future. #EUaccession eualive.net/eus-costa-ur...

I will be participating at the Young Bled Strategic Forum 2025 #YoungBSF, followed by the 20th jubilee edition of the #BledStrategicForum.

I am grateful to the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung for generously supporting my participation and making this opportunity possible.

An outstanding moment at #bledstrategicforum 2023 was the honor of meeting #Belarus leader @Tsihanouskaya in person for the 1st time.

The inspiring & courageous legitimate leader of #FreeBelarus.

Hoping for her safe and triumphant return in the not too distant future!

#BSF2023

The Bled Strategic Forum 2023 is about to kick off!

Looking forward to the discussions and meetings.

Also rain and thunder in Bled right now serve as a reminder that flooding and disaster struck #Slovenia hard this year and solidarity is key.
