Bought the Kentaro Yabuki edition female mannequin after growing to hate the standard one. I'm already loving it for literally just doing it's job and then some at being flexible

these do break a little weirdly since they’re based off of plastic mannequins

Here it is! SHFigurarts' Body Chan mannequin! I was gonna get Body Kun too, but it sold out. I draw skinny characters anyway, so it's fine.

I never did started with anatomy all that much, my works at the start are all over the place. That being said, bodychan - the little figure you bend for poses and such, was a great help in figuring how stuff would look! There’s a lot of 3d models you can check for that too! (3/7)

So apparently someone made a free set of CC0 poseable art reference models for blender (like body-kun and body-chan) and I couldn't not share because I was literally thinking about this the other week blendswap.com/blend/23521

If you know me from IG, you already know that I bought a bodychan doll for poses. Why? Well, I´m not good at using Magic poser or Just sketch me xD
.

How is this fornite Miku? This is just Miku NT figma as a bodychan reference figure.

Don't get those classic art mannequins btw, they suck. If you wanna get an articulatable figurine get a bodykun or bodychan from figma.

I also got a bodychan for Christmas, and it's helping.

I've got the famous set of dolls body chan and body kun to help me with poses.
...

I figured he had something like 3d art reference program like mangaka or picture of a bodychan figure under a light that he used as ref to draw the shading. But I couldn't understand what he meant in his reply, the art is the official reference examination? I can't recall.

Happy Valentine's Day !
