Finanzierungsfragen?

Anna Comnene writing the Alexiad: Bohemund was possibly the worst person in the world but unfortunately he was also hot

like, interesting monsters, the millennarian stuff is fascinating, urban inspired a genuine social movement by accident, bohemund and his Normans were somewhat atypical, etc, but they murdered so many people

tatsächlich habe ich auch einiges gelesen mit Robert Guiscard und Bohemund von Tarent aber so exakt hab ich das nicht gleich eingeordnet gekriegt - unironisch richtig stark, Respekt

Are we sure about that for Bohemund and Tancred?

And they got everywhere

Sicily, Italy, serving the Byzantine emperors as mercenarys, and (eventually) some of the most important Crusader elements in the first crusade and set up the first Crusader state

Been much more fun if the William had been called Bohemund or Tancred

They did: and I think they were instrumental in the defeat of a Norman army led by Bohemund in the 1080s in northern Greece.

Slight disagree here. There were factions within the first (Bohemund) that certainly wanted to if they had the capacity. During the Second Crusade, Odo of Deuil is actually explicit that plenty of people petition the King of France to sack the city while they are outside Constantinople.

The ancestors of Bohemund are frantically digging through the family archives

They'd have been right behind Bohemund in the First Crusade

Bloody hell

I'm too tired to track down the actual passage from the Alexiad so this is from Wikipedia but cmon, Anna, let's try to focus here.

From my personal collection, various coins of the Byzantine Empire & medieval Europe:

1) gold Semissis of the Byzantine emperor Justinian

2) bronze Follis of the Byzantine emperor Maurice Tiberius

3) silver Denier of prince Bohemund III of Antioch

4) silver Penny of the English king John

It was the 9th edition codex, and how clearly it laid out how high on their own bullshit they were with all their "noble Dorn," and "Guilliman the Divisive" talk. Spoke to the part of me that learnt about Bohemund of Taranto, then ran with it.

Medieval boots I have largely sourced from Viking Leathercraft or Boots by Bohemund. Beyond that I have some leads on some really good Italian makers for when I want to go nuts.

I just love a reason to share this article.

Again, technically speaking Helldivers are just glorified spotters for the Super Destroyers in orbit. If it didn't break game mechanics you'd be just calling in strikes. An interesting idea of war though 🔽🔽

Family game of Hamster Quest.

I won it as Dahlia the Spy by defeating both the Demiurge and Bohemund the Fat. I was transformed into a hideous beast by the Demiurge which should have blocked me from winning, but luckily I had a potion that cured me.

Some people definitely would blame Bohemund. Ol' Pierre Le Blanc was very clear on which side still held a grudge toward. On a positive note, it caused a player to try to read up on Byzantine history and the crusades to try to make more sense of my character.
