In the distance, flat farmland stretches off toward the Bristol Channel, where the long promontory of Brean Down is clearly visible. An, almost colourless, colour photograph of Weston Bay, Somerset, UK. Taken some three hours after low tide, so the tide is well on the way back in.
The sky is quite cloudy though with light patches breaking through which is reflecting off the water.
In the background, from bottom left to slight right of centre, sits Brean Down and right at the tip of the peninsula is the old Fort. Just the right is a ship in the Bristol Channel, which we can barely make out.
