Finished Outer Darks on audiobook and it only reinforced that the Carcharadons are one of my new favourite chapter of Adeptus Astartes 🤘🏻 awesome follow on from Red Tithe as the silent warriors face off against a hive fleet and gene stealer cult, highly recommend both books #books #warhammer40k

So as a Chain Axe enjoyer when it comes to chapters I find interesting, Flesh Tearers and Carcharadons both being chapters who regularly use chain axes has always been something I found really neat.
Love that it's the "brutality' chain weapon like using a chainsaw for melee combat wasn't enough.

Man I am really struggling with the base model for this guy, is it one of the newer Red Corsairs?!
Fantastic mid grey while keeping it an interesting tone, and the mix of armour really suits Carcharadons

I agree with @vincentknotley.bsky.social, if we're talking predators. It has to be carcharadons. #warhammer #nerdlings #paintingwarhammer

If there is genuinely interest in advancing the 40k timeline, I think that’s an interesting way to go.
Imagine if Vulkan returns & immediately leads a quarter of moderate chapters into exile, leaving Gulliman & El’Johnson struggling to control chapters like the Minotaurs, Carcharadons etc.

Everyone hates the Space Marines when all they know is Ultramar. Gotta teach them about Carcharadons. Black Dragons. Etc. The good chapters.

Would work for some chapters I guess. Marines Malevolent, Carcharadons. I was planning to do a Carcharadon kill team, so guess I don't need to kitbash now.

At this point GW could come out with a POV novel for 30K that definitively shows the origins of the carcharadons as exiled terran ravenguard and answers all our questions about them.. and people would still be sharing the memelore about primarch tyberos, secret nightlord origins, and so on..

(WIP) A bit of progress on the Carcharadons Toyota Hilux, mashed up from a spare Rhino and Firestrike turret.

No painting right now due to actual work, so I figured I'd get some of my old Badab work organized - first up are the Astral Claws. They were the first Badab chapter I worked on, to oppose friends' Red Scorpions and Carcharadons.
