Despite an elevated risk of sudden cardiac death among dialysis patients, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) have not been shown to improve mortality and are associated with high complication rates. Subcutaneous (S-)ICDs may reduce the risk of complications for eligible dialysis patients, but safety and benefits vs transvenous (TV-ICDs are unknown.

Just had an appointment with my psychiatrist. Even though I told her that my heart is healthy and taken care of she doesn't want to prescribe me an ADHD med due to my cyborg part. (Implantable Cardioverter-Defribillator) unless I can talk with primary care. luckily that appointment is in two weeks.
