You saw it with the #Census1926 for instance.

“Everybody loves the 1926 Census, the national archive that tells you what *your* grandparents were doing a century ago!”

Two days later…

“We regret to inform you that the Census is partitionist”.

Went to see Nana today and went with the 1926 census print outs in tow. Someone had already given them to her, but we talked about her parents, and how she was on there, just 15 months old. #census1926

Found De Valera (or De Valéra as he filled out on the Irish version of the form) but not W.T. Cosgrave? Tim Healy put Barrister as job, not occupied for a living and Govr. Gerl. added as a correction, maybe Tim didn't see Governor General of the Irish Free State as a real job. #census1926 #speirgorm

In a letter Pádraig Ó Conchubhair recounted a visit to Marsh's in 1924 when he was blocked from entering by a woman cleaning the steps. She took him for a gunman in his fedora and trench coat. #1926Census has possibly given a name to our defender, library caretaker Mary Ann Gwynne #Census1926
