It was genuinely crazy seeing a substantial number of people accuse the Democratic candidate of massive racism against the black community based on.... like basically nothing? While also ignoring clear racism against the Hispanic community from the candidate they supported
The Texas primary was ideologically a nothingburger and coalitionally a left vs center contest that was created by the online center deciding to support the scandal-prone candidate who said nobody could win the seat anyway and who ran an extremely dirty primary campaign, for inscrutable reasons

putting more cops on the beat AND investing more in community-based violence prevention programs that give Pennsylvanians more opportunities and stop people from committing acts of violence in the first place.

I signed the docs, they stopped replying to emails and didnt pay. I feel even more foolish than usual.
I did NOT give ArtStorm Games permission to use my design in #ModernWarships but I have to admit they did a beautiful job on the model and nailed every nonsensical detail to far higher fidelity than I ever did!

Vance himself was the key pipeline for transmitting a literal blood libel about Haitians concocted by literal neo-Nazis (Blood Tribe) to the mainstream public and implementing policies to brutalize the community based on those literal neo-Nazi libels.
Vance should be included in this group - with rhetoric & act, the Vice President has been an architect + unrelenting cheerleader of efforts to remake what it means to be American, and in the cruelty & abuse against immigrants & refugees.
When we hold the Trump administration accountable, we must bring up their crimes in Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America. I do NOT want Rubio resigning after creating bloodbaths with Hegseth up and down the coast only to run for president like nothing happened.

The problem, of course, is that the policy was based on racist fantasy while ignoring the wishes of Black residents of DC as well as the important roles they played in the community. It would have polled well at the time if polling had existed, but was simply impossible as policy.

For Bluesky being a high-information community that had an accurate pulse on real political organizing and the real vulnerabilities of fascism, none of this was based on evidence gleaned from participating in the make-believe play of fascists. Turns out it made 95% of players more happy. The only people who got unhappy were the folks who wanted to bully noobs.
