#componentization
Yes, the componentization of Unity it's actually great for this kind of stuff.

Lastly, because of headless componentization, the same tests used upstream can be used downstream to ensure implementation correctness and accessibility.

This is what I do to ensure vanilla and React libraries are identical.

In the age of AI, this has never been more important!

A new AI review! luckybilly/CC ⭐3.7/5.0
CC (ComponentCaller) is a feature-rich Android componentization framework built around a component bus model rather than a traditional URL/router approach.

RE: https://techhub.social/@manlycoffee/117360844064316196

What was I trying to achieve in the first place?

Avoiding componentization. I know some design-oriented folks love componentization, but I care about delivery cadence, and limited bureaucracy.

Some bureaucracy is expected. Design […]

All in all, with open roots for fallback, and good conventions for styling, ShadowRoots are much better for componentization than global styles and global queries. And making a querySelectorDeep function if really needed is fairly easy.

Yet… I just can't imagine feeling good about wasm until there is some kind of componentization. The whole effort feels misbegotten if we have only massive statically compiled programs. I so so strongly want the small pieces world wasm components offers.

Well…. They are so consolidated and vertically integrated that they do provide services. THAT Is the problem!

The markets should be regulated to force more componentization and competition. Insurance companies should just… provide insurance.

in other news, i might be going a little fucking extra crazy with componentization :)

An open question: what can the #Chromium project do to make life easier for downstreams?

In this post we explore some ideas around upstream collaboration, componentization and community support that could help.

I’d love to see something like React but for native desktop. To be clear, not talking about React native / JSX, moreso something React-like to manage partial re-renders and UI componentization. Food for thought for after finish this GPU Zig project I guess

There's probably a spicy take here about how Rails not having a 1st party componentization layer, or some interop layer between componentization libraries has caused significant fragmentation.

I'm back at work for an hour or two to make the view of the receipt details responsive on all devices.

With a good componentization and the right tools, this can be done quite quickly.

Have a nice evening.

Are you a user researcher who is annoyed at the thoughtless inclusion of LLMs into research tools?

If you want to explore your own alternative analytic pipelines, you'll need langchain. I made a repo that gets you up and running using models you can run locally:

imo the problem with blogs (and newsletters, and web content in general) is that they're too sparse. the ratio of words to information is just way too damn high. so many redundancies. stuff gets stale and obsolete (which usually spoils the entire document because there is no componentization).

Componentization takes a little bit of extra work but the reward is being able to lay out all states like this and design them all at once

Detach instance, detach instance, detach instance...

Working in Figma always ends up this way.

I really think the best laid plans and good intentions behind figmas componentization just never really works.
