Short but good thread. As a "yes, and" here, most of these confrontational dweebs don't understand how long some of us have been online, and have seen everything they have to offer in previous generations of confrontational dweebs. You're not edgy, you're just an asshole, and a boring one at that.
1) After the "Block at will" comment yesterday, some of the replies really laid out one of the bad things social media brought us -- some people's wild *underestimation* of other people's life experiences. Probably as a result of the depersonalizing, one-step-removed nature of the medium.

I’ve quit telling people that I disagree with them. Instead, I now say, “I’m gonna have to agree with myself on this one.” It’s self-positive, non-confrontational, and just weird enough to end the conversation.
