THE CONJURING: LAST RITES is the most I've enjoyed a Michael Chaves-directed Conjurverse entry, but that still doesn't rise above ho-hum mediocrity. I really wish James Wan returned for Farmiga and Wilson's "last" chapter.

The crooked man is the subject of an old, rather creepy, nursery rhyme. He appears in an indie game sharing the same name and is depicted as a malevolent spirit in the conjurverse movies.

This is it. We finished the Conjurverse with this one. It had all the good subtle and in your face spooks, some great ones even. Though something felt just a little odd in the pacing of the family's story.

My man @k1l2l3y.bsky.social is absolutely treating me and together we are watching through all the Conjurverse movies. He's not big on the spooks but he knows I love them!

I really enjoyed the conjuring and was ready to dig into the conjurverse so this is a bummer but i appreciate the warning ty
