Blue company.

A little self seeded cobalt blue cornflower among orange crocosmias in my backyard garden. I sprinkled more cornflower seeds there for next yr. The golden finches would be happy!

This is from my lushest cluster of crocosmias in the front garden. Just a perfect balance of green n shades of orange. I planted a bunch for hummingbirds.

2 Orange n red crocosmias are still going in one of my huge pots. The crocosmias planted in the ground are done blooming for over a week.
So I am planting more crocosmias in the huge pots for next yr.

Dahlia in my backyard garden. This is the lushest plant that I have. I left some tubers n the ground all winter in this spot but dug out a few and stored them in the house. Those still have a long way to catch up.

I miss my lush spring garden with bearded irises, Oriental poppies etc and the green grass! There is not much in the garden now except some day lilies n a cluster of crocosmias.

My spring garden with a row of orange Oriental poppies, purple n yellow bearded irises planted alternately. 2nd row I planted daylilies, croscosmias n fahlias. In front of them I planted alyssums , honeysuckle and sedum . At the curve of the lawn self seeded yellow California poppies n red orange Oriental poppies thrived

My daughter in law planted all these yellow daffodils and tulips in the front yard. I planted other plants blooming later.

A curved bed of yellow daffodils, mostly red tulips and 2 orange calendula flowers at lower right. Neighbors garden are beyond the tulips n daffodils bed. There is a circle of bear berry, crocosmias n Oriental poppy plants among the tulips n daffodils too. A part of a circular grassy lawn is visible too. It needs mowing n edging but there's tulips growing in there too!..ha.😆 .
