I know! It's crazy. And thank heavens for it! Daggerbound has been keeping me sane this week.

Sadness. I finished @tkingfisher.com’s Daggerbound and now I don’t want to read anything else because it won’t be as good.

There are still Swordheart and Daggerbound, if you haven't read them. Same world and the swordy mmc pretty close to the lustguilty paladins.

I’ve read 2 @tkingfisher.com books in the span of the last 3 days (Swordheart and Daggerbound) and apologies to everyone who recommended them: you said they were wonderful, told me I would love them, and yet still somehow undersold them. Now to wait until the third comes out (on my birthday!)

Herewith the books I received for my birthday -- all of which I am looking forward to! Of course!
N.B. For the curious, I did receive non-book gifts, including 3 jigsaws and a Lego cat.

Wondering if I should do a reread of Swordheart before trying to get my hands on Daggerbound.

@tkingfisher.com so I'm reading and loving Daggerbound, (I love your world building) and I realized I've been seeing the Dervish as Manny Jacinto.

I finished Daggerbound by @tkingfisher.com and it was SO DAMN GOOD.
If you like Oliver and Felipe from my books, you'll love (ex) Learned Edmund and The Dervish. The whole book was *chef kiss*

Wrapping up one of the greatest reading months of my life. Still reeling after Tawny Man Trilogy but there were some other solid 4 and 5 star reads along with my Robin Hobb madness.

September 2026 Wrap Up
It's officially fall, which means it's time to cuddle up under some cozy blankets with warm beverages and your favorite smut books. Our Favorite Reads… Erin's Pick: Playing His Game by Ashlyn Kane & Morgan James It follows the expected beats—but it also absolutely nails them. (Erin's full review.) Ingrid's Pick: Daggerbound by T. Kingfisher This book delivered exactly what we want from a Kingfisher adventure, with the bonus of a complex and wounded protagonist. (Ingrid and Holly's joint review.) Holly's Pick: By Any Means by E.M.

September Reading Wrap Up! 🍎
September was a weird month. I also read two beta reads (not featured here) and DNFed three books. That's a lot for me since I'm usually pretty good at picking out what I like.
Looking forward to the spooky reads I have planned for October!
