We like to ask, “when will dbplyr have feature parity with TidierDB?”

While I’m still using dbplyr as my main driver with some of the updates below I may finally transition to duckplyr.
Very cool work by the package developers.

probably will focus on shiny next but really tempted by httr2 and plumber2 as well.

Any advice on how to structure it?
Eg should I explain dplyr first and its benefits then show it can be used with databases?

`{dbplyr}` is the single best idea to come out of the tidyverse (and the tidyverse is full of good ideas)

🖥️ dplyr/dbplyr = SQL, single DB, pushes computations to the backend.
Spark pulls data to process, dbplyr pushes queries to the DB. #Rstats

New verb support
- bind_queries() makes it easy to combine multiple lazy queries using UNION ALL (#1342). It’s the dbplyr equivalent of dplyr::bind_rows().
