Super relevant when it comes to actually talking honestly about "regret" in relation to medical procedures. These (stomach/weightloss surgeries) are some of the highest regret surgeries, with many common high risk complications, and we aren't trying to restrict THOSE because OMG DEATHFAT.
Meanwhile fat people are strong armed by doctors to get a high risk, high regret stomach surgery just so they can get the healthcare we actually need, including gender affirming surgery.

I am five months from qualifying for antivirals and the nurse at my practice just said "nah" at me. Even with my Deathfat I'm too healthy! Goddammit can I not use medical bias to my advantage ONE time 😀

I wasn’t eligible for insurance on my own ore ACA because I was…dun dun dun…DEATHFAT. And now I have a lot of expensive medications that I require to stay alive. Like insulin. Which should honestly be OTC.

These will always make me dislike her more than I already do, but the silver lining is ALR is the good luck chuck of the deathfat gw community so her ex’s just had to kiss their frog (abuser) before finding the one.

Mostly it’s that you can’t tell weight from looks (and also men have no idea what women actually weigh)
According to the BMI chart I’m DeathFat at 5’4”, but I just returned a pair of size 18 jeans because I could take them off without unbuttoning them (or even using any of the stretch in the denim)

I'm in the obese category still, but no longer morbidly obese (or as folks like to call it DEATHFAT).I liked that my doctore was really clear about why he wanted me to lose the weight and he told me that it would okay if took me a year.
