Peter Revson tragically lost his life #OnThisDay, 22nd March 1974, at the age of 35, during a practice session at the Kyalami circuit. He was driving a Ford-powered Shadow DN3. This was the second racing fatality in the family, following his brother Douglas, who died in 1967.
