I think frontlines shotcalling would be improved by generals shouting KILL extremely loudly as they charge towards the enemy like in chinese ancient war dramas

i feel like period crime dramas (as we see in some of the Holodeck eps) would be big too, no?
I wonder what crime fiction is like in TNG-era Star Trek? By this point, Earth is 'paradise' in terms of social cohesion and welfare, where money isn't a thing at all.

So what I think is that the cozy mysteries and the stories where a criminal is antihero or goodie, they all take place offworld

AI Vertical dramas are even cheaper though.

#LoveInDisguise and other gender bender dramas.
Another major reason is right there in the name: Disguised identity

There’s consistent tension surrounding who knows what and slip ups, all the way to the (usually) climactic reveal. Or else, the romantic partner ends up the secret keeper to help maintain the disguise

Bring back The WB! Teen dramas and superhero shows, 22 episodes a season with reruns. Writers producing on set, and at least one support staffer gets an ep each season
What's your most ridiculous, newly emboldened political demand?

There are so many AI slop dramas on TikTok now so im not an optimist
AI slop is a supply side game-changer, so it's easy to focus there, but ultimately everything comes down to demand: will the public, in aggregate, be satisfied with slop or demand more?

skeptics have to understand they're betting on the public's capacity for taste and discernment, and well

I am conflicted. I have been watching asian dramas for over two decades now and I absolutely recognise the shift.

When I first started watching dramas, it wasn’t of easy access. Fans lived off fansubs, literally people from the community who knew the language and would help out those who didn’t.
A recent article about the domestic Korean entertainment industry is warning that it could collapse if the system doesn’t adapt and reform to the new reality of massive international demand for kdrama and korean films.

Drama production is declining by approximately 30% over the past 2 years.
