These new Dramoine fanfics are fantasy Romances with magic, settings, and characters who heavily resemble their HP counterparts. Add in marketing materials using HP characters for promotion isn’t just poking the bear it’s giving it a prostrate exam.

I really have to question how much this author actually enjoys the fandom space when they specifically call it "gross" that two of the Trad Dramoine fics feature the man enslaving the woman. That's just typical fanfic fare.

Honestly, this is why I’m uncomfortable with authors being open about their trad pub books being their Harry Potter fanfic. I don’t care how good your barely disguised Dramoine rewrite is, you really want your name tied to *that* franchise?
