Gosh, your diurnal raptor pieces are so pretty, happy birthday! My favourite birds are blackcap chickadees, nuthatches, rufous & ruby throated hummerbirbs, jackdaws, chickens, California quail, ye olde pigeons (rock doves,) ducks in general, grackles, ospreys, barred owls, & peregrine falcons!❤️❤️❤️🐓🦉🦆

Our proximity to the water in Kingston's Inner Harbour means we live with wildlife, despite essentially being downtown. Rabbits, groundhogs, ducks, doves, finches, robins, crows, squirrels, and our precious children of the night: a colony of big brown bats.
Also: a piliated woodpecker.

the idea that vampirehans steals ducks and doves to keep them for himself and or eat them later 🙂‍↕️

Grew up in rural Montana out near Bumfuque, Montana.

We ate elk, deer, antelope, ducks, geese, rabbit, grouse, pheasant, doves, partridge, etc. Plus what we bought at the grocery store. Basically, any vegetarian animal.

Chimney Swift, eastern peewee with its door-hinge squeak, cormorants, mergansers, blue jays, cardinals, gulls, ducks, song sparrows and doves. I never see that big of a crowd in the middle of the day in the summer. To them it was a surprise holiday from us

I spent the day today wandering about Denver and doing some urban birding.

I saw:
- rock doves (aka pigeons)
- Canada geese including goslings
- a graylag goose
- mallard ducks including ducklings
- house sparrows
- house finches
- barn swallows
- a northern flicker

Good day!

I don't have the greatest lens but I saw cormorants, Western grebes, pelicans, American coots w/ babies, meadowlarks, kingbirds, mourning doves, yellow-headed blackbirds, countless ducks, Canadian geese and a Swainson’s hawk PLUS the usual suspects (ducks, sparrows, swallows, crows, ravens, etc). 💗

We also saw mallard ducks, nuthatches, robins, and mourning doves! Chimney swifts may have been spotted, but they were so far away that we couldn’t fully identify them

I take evening walks in an established commercial neighborhood with a tree-lined canal, which hosts squirrels, crows, geese, a pair of mourning doves, and ducks. My fav part is how they simply accepted me, glad they like (man)bears 😅🐻

oh my god yeah. i feel this way about a lot of birds tbh, like mourning doves, but you're so right that ducks are most grabbable

Looked out to see if there were any birds to shoot earlier this evening, and instead of the normal crew(house finches, sparrows, chickadees and doves), there was a pair of mallard ducks cleaning up the food “dropped” by the finches. The male being very careful to watch me, and stay between me […]

Since starting a new job a few months ago, I've been taking time on my lunch breaks to take my camera to a nearby lake and see what the locals are up to.

See more from this collection on my website!

ok last few for now. the pigeons were like, totally random amongst the ducks and geese, huddled together near a pond. there were some stock doves too!

Like most the raptors (except the vultures and buzzards), swifts, penguins, auks, loons, ducks, Canada geese, pigeons, doves, hummingbirds, pheasants, peacocks, chickens, some songbirds are neat.

Then it's a hodgepodge of cute and fuzzies. Dogs and sea otters, mostly.

You'll Be Amazed By What Placing Oats Outside Can Lead To
Among the types of birds that enjoy oats are cardinals, ducks, finches, blackbirds, and doves, so you'll be able to attract a variety of avian visitors with this breakfast ingredient.

Good morning. No Doves or Hever Castle today. We are up in Melton Mowbray for a few days chill. Recuperating from an eye injury, I can still take pics. Here are some ducks including some cute ducklings.

Red-wing blackbirds are so loud, like, there are geese, ducks, various little birds, mourning doves and all that, but the red-wing blackbird is always like, shouting over it all.

Love it tbh. Keep hollerin' dude

If we had been ducks, we might dabble in mud;
Or dogs, we might play till it ended in blood:
So foul, or so fierce are their natures;
But Thomas and William, and such pretty names,
Should be cleanly and harmless as doves, or as lambs,
Those lovely sweet…
