Mother aka BOAT (Big Oak Acorn Tree) is on fire in this mid season of life. Limbs have been torn off and healed and new branches of growth. Stronger but battered against the great fall and winter storms which are getting stronger every year. This year she is holding on longer, her leaves of fire. Holding for all the protection she can. For all her children. Her friends. Those who call her home. The ending is good… But the journey was hard. This is what she’s been healing and preparing for. It will be her greatest battle yet against the storm. Some say it’s super El. Nino. But she has been preparing for this fight since she was born. A big Spanish Swamp Oak Tree in BC Canada near the south west coast. It is home to many animals. Mostly multigenerational birds. And now squirrels too. The best looks like a heart. Sometimes the tree looks like a peaceful mother holding onto their child. Beautiful in her stillness. At other times she looks like a dragon 🐉 on fire 🔥 (Dragon and fire emoji above) Mother’s heart. A squirrel nest A woman sits by the fire outside In the South Coast of British Columbia Canada. She sits in the cold with her friend BOAT- A big Spanish swamp oak tree. Taking some time to herself. The day has heen long. But it is dark now. The chikdren are safe. They are loved. The woman sits by the fire in the cold trying to cool down her internal heat. Shes a woman on fire too just like BOAT. A woman with CTPSD and one too many dysabilities for how young she feels in her heart and besides she doesn’t even look disabled; she is reminded often. The journey has been long indeed. But there is always Hope and knowing that she can make it. She’s done it before, she’ll do it again and she is Loved and she loves back. She is healing.

I can't believe I get to be in @ellatholmes.bsky.social second disability anthology! I've been TRYING to convince them to call it 2 ARTIFICE 2 ACCESS but I think I've been overruled 😔

it is indeed not fun, from all my dysability, dyspraxia is the worst, my hand do not respond well, same with every movement, alway has been like that, but it is on the mental side it is the most impacting, though of self harm appen
