Forgot the finishing mileage, but went 30mi today. Waded through creeks and waterfalls. Good day in the forest preserves. Great shade among the trees, the prairie got a little toasty. Excellent Sunday ride.

I weigh about 250lbs. My ebicycle weighs about 70lbs. It can get up to about 40mph... 320lbs at 40mph is gonna fuck someone up pretty badly. Yeah, car is worse... but the bike isn't nothing.

Quite an intriguing and interesting entry from Gambade! The best of two very adequate modal-means in one package - go grab the kids and groceries in the morning, and use it as a joy ride in the evening! 20mph ebike assist, shocks to absorb rough roads, and it adapts in under a minute!

On this day a year ago (around this hour) I awoke to find my bones repaired with bubble gum and duct tape (or was that screws and metal plates?) after breaking two of them the day before on 6/11/24 — crashed on my ebicycle to avoid a car. I’m happy to say I can do about 95% of what I could before.
