Looking forward to reading the many op-eds that ask why the Republican Party is so off-putting to men.

Midterm losses mean we are mere weeks away from “Trump was never a real conservative” op-eds in every prominent paper
November 5, 2026 at 8:36 PM
We don’t have to care about shitty bad faith op-eds in the times anymore bc I feel like we, as a country, have proven they are obsolete
November 5, 2026 at 12:55 PM
When do we get 900,000 op-eds about how Republicans have lost touch with the young men and aren't offering them a sense of belonging

Or lower-eds are just swingier.

If it weren’t for Salon taking my meandering, bad op-eds back in the day, I never would have found investigative journalism.

This sucks. Another media fixture dies.
Salon.com's team had an amazing election night. It is truly so fun, such an honor, to work with such smart, passionate, deeply funny people.

This morning, we were informed the publication was closed, effective immediately.

Here's the official company message.

I’ve written & published op-eds for years, recently on Black organizing & voter engagement for major outlets

I wrote a book on Black women’s political leadership

AND my job is voter engagement +turnout with youth, Black voters & other voters of color

Am I getting media calls/op-eds placed? NOPE
you'd think that given the election results, mainstream outlets might look for Black columnists from the south or Hispanic columnists from the southwest to explain the outcomes, rather than looking for the same conservative white men who they've been using as go tos for the past decade.

I need a million op eds every day about how the cultural mood of the country has changed and people are sick and tired of conservatism, go on, you sure had them all running 2 years ago about the other party after a much narrower defeat
November 6, 2026 at 3:30 PM
They'd be running op-eds every day demanding his impeachment bsky.app/profile/vect...
If a dem president covered up Iran making almost every base in the gulf inoperable i doubt the coverage would be this tepid.

Also super nice artsy shot, dillholes. I don’t even know why I read op-eds; they’re infuriating.

Glad someone is reading my op-eds.
Remember when Doug Ford blamed students buying expensive watches and cologne for his OSAP cuts? Turns out the red flags were at private career colleges, under his own watch. Students did nothing wrong, and they're stuck with the debt. It's time to fire Minister Nolan Quinn.

Could folks start their engines for essays/Op Eds on:

"Preemptively talk about pardons as miscarriage of justice"?
1. Yes.
2. Dems need to preemptively talk about pardons as miscarriage of justice.
3. Prosecutions --> 2029
4. Move toward Rome Statute ratification.
Indeed. The whole country and world deserves Hegseth’s impeachment trial — and the prosecutions that follow.

Defund the Op-eds
In the same year the UN voted to describe the slave trade as the "gravest crime against humanity", the Telegraph publishes an op-ed claiming the continent of Africa would have been worse off if it didn't occur.

For 2 years these columnists only talked about the ways in which Trump should wield power & 24 hrs haven't passed since the election and the bullshit op eds about how Dems should under no circumstances use their powers have begun. Throw every last one of them in a washing machine and set it to rinse
November 5, 2026 at 12:13 PM
Wow who could have foreseen this take from the paper that explicitly banned left leaning op-eds
"If Democrats lurch far left on policy, the voters who gave them an enormous victory on Tuesday will probably be strongly tempted to switch back to the GOP or stay home in future elections."

I appreciate the optimism based on this last week but sorry within five years all of these people will have been paid handsomely to write New York Times op-eds
Locking in predictions now

I am available for hire to help write op-eds, and to help train your people in how to communicate science, conservation, and related policy issues to the community.

Let’s chat.
