was not expecting "former Jalopnik EIC" to enter this chat
Mallory McMorrow's husband spills all the tea on Haley Stevens, particularly regarding an op-ed rebuking Mike Rogers that she kept flip-flopping on.

"What we’re seeing now? This is just raw, unfiltered Haley.

The Haley who flip-flops and goes from thought to thought without rhyme or reason."

Former Jalopnik EIC Ray Wert laying the hammer down
Ray Wert, the Jewish husband of Mallory McMorrow, who finished third in the Michigan Senate Democratic primary behind Abdul El-Sayed and Haley Stevens, goes guns blazing against Stevens after she endorsed Republican Mike Rogers:

Not forgetting that slavery in EIC territories was not covered under abolition in 1833 and formally continued for another decade.

If I’m ever EiC, I’m commissioning @notquitehydepark.bsky.social to write a slim volume of Brainiac’s private poetry.

OMG - You’re the EIC at Mother Jones and this is your take? Unbelieveable.

Starting to feel like IDF prison guard might not be the most objectivity endowing data point on an EIC CV...

imagine ever having imposter syndrome when this woman could become EIC of a publication named in honor of an anti-electoral labor champion bsky.app/profile/mero...
Mother Jones would set you on fire
People who think the Times shouldn’t report on who is behind a Potemkin candidate should really ask themselves if they’d feel that way if such a move might hurt a candidate they favored. This is not a “hit piece” or an “October surprise,” it is journalism.

I'm sure the EiC of Mother Jones is waiting with bated breath to do this at any moment.

I mean whatever for a random poster but if you’re EIC of mother jones you should probably read it before you get paranoid

Sincerest thanks to guest curators Peter Devonald & Sanjeev Sethi for selecting my work for inclusion in The Candyman's Trumpet: Curatorial.

Deeply appreciative of their time & consideration. Thanks also to EIC Jack Caradoc.

Here is #SeaGlassRequiem first published in @madridlitmag.bsky.social .

Brand new CNF in The Itch today. Thanks to Paige (EIC) and @smokelong.bsky.social friends and my editor @mattkendrick.bsky.social for help with "What We'll Bring to Your Celebration of Life."

Well, it beats the PKP EIC Premiums top speed.

I don't understand why the EIC of Mother Jones of all places is acting as centrist news defender and pretending not to understand the difference between front page coverage and a story on page A19

I do appreciate that Jim Shooter eventually took responsibility for the rape of Carol Danvers. As EiC, it was his responsibility.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Brevoort was essentially acting as a proxy EIC to push his agenda across the board and the recent changes put a stop to that.

An excellent exploration of the First Anglo-Afghan War - AKA the West shouldn't fuck with Afghanistan, episode 1/5.

The audiobook has a wonderful Indian narrator, which really adds to the vibe of recounting the EIC dumbfuckery.

I'm glad the EIC of Mother Jones is worrying about this and not about the fact that the NYT decided not to report the new rape allegations against Trump (they just said that Dems had published a report about "controversies" or some shit)
