Class of 2003. There wasn't a lot of physical violence against LGBTQ in my school. But it was very much don't ask, don't tell, even though we generally knew who was LGBTQ and was not. There was rampant casual homophobic language though. "That's gay." "Don't be gay." Games of smear the queer. 1/2
