A reminder that those made large donations to the Tories, give money to Labour and to a lesser extent Reform, for two reasons, they are in bed with whoever wins the GE and for the ruling party to maintain the status quo. It’s the system that’s broken, a change in leadership rarely delivers change

In 1979, Pierre Trudeau said Canada needed proportional representation to fix regional divides and ensure fairer results.
Almost 50 years later, the problem hasn’t gone away.

Two things the Carney govt should do on top of all the good promises they’ve made:
1. Fulfill the Trudeau promise for electoral reform and make voting in Canada ranked ballot.
2. Make it mandatory to have security clearance for every party leader & cabinet of a governing party.

This is really bad by StatsforLefties reporting of a much more interesting poll that I commissioned. It wasn't just "who's your true first preference". It was "rank all the parties". Half of respondents ranked Reform UK dead last.
