Austin is entirely frozen over. Pure ice. Half an hour ago, the power went out. I was pretty sure the brick I shit at that moment could be heard from space.
Thankfully, ERCOT appears to have its shit together and the power came back on 15 minutes later.

ERCOT thinks that one megawatt will power 250 homes during peak winter demand. That is nowhere near accurate. A home using resistance heat at 14 degrees will use 10-20kw. ERCOT still doesn't understand winter demand. Read more here:
