Got the soundtrack to one of my favorite games: Heart of Darkness! 💜

It's such a joy to listen to the soundtrack again. It makes me feel like I'm in a Spielberg and John Williams movie 📽️ 🎶 🤗

Here's the final background to better appreciate Eric Chahi's work.

You may have noticed on the first image that he used the previous background (the lake) to draw this one. And the house is taller!

As well as the tracklist, you can see the main characters, including Andy and his dog Whisky. And the Master of Darkness too! 😈

The only thing that's changed is the color of the leaves 🍃

I also think this screenshot from Another World bears quite a few similarities to the image shown in the previous post 😀

I scanned this pixel art image drawn by Eric Chahi 🖌️

It was thanks to this drawing that he was hired as a graphic designer on Future Wars/Les Voyageurs du Temps.

I'd really love to see it without scanlines ❤️

Translation of the caption: "This screen is the work of Eric Chahi, the graphic artist for Les Voyageurs du Temps. No, you’ll never see it in a game. However, it allowed Eric to prove his skills as a painter to Delphine Software and land the contract that today makes him a happy... and rich man!" - Page 89 of Issue 79 of Tilt magazine (June 1990)
