At some point, you would hope that the self-preservation instinct would kick in.
My personal preference, I hope they have preservation letters ready to send now.
My personal preferences (and it doesn't have to be Day 1):
1. Dems work to do things that help Americans. Either they succeed and take credit and things get better or they fail and can point to Trump and the GOP as the impediment to things getting better.
2. I don't care about revenge.

If the Dems end up at 55 or 56 seats in the Senate, certainly there are four or five Republicans with some sense of self-preservation at this point right? 60 votes isn't impossible.
