The world looks brighter today. Had my first cataract op. yesterday, and I’m amazed at the difference.
I’m advised to rest, limit my screen time for a few days, and no gardening for two weeks😔But it will be worth it to see things clearly again.

Medical advice, to avoid what’s referred to as a flare, re #AutoimmuneDisease, not to mention #Lyme’s, is to avoid physical and emotional stress. #EyeSurgery followed by Christmas proved an obstacle course for me, I’m still stumbling through. But, I’ll get there - and back here again soon, promise!

It’s such a double standard. I got lasik 4 years ago. An elective medical procedure with real risk. I booked it without an optometrist referral at a random office with decent Google reviews and had the surgery a few weeks after my one initial consult. Went in yesterday to have LASIK eye surgery! Was in and out in under an hour. 🤩 Could immediately see the difference afterward, and it's even better almost a day later! Can't wait to see what fully healed vision looks like! ✨ #LASIK #Eyesurgery #Vision #Surgery #Healing
