この編成例で載っているF4U-4ですが、AU-1・F4U-7という違法艦爆を所持していない方におすすめしたい艦爆です。
これも長いスパンで改修しなくてはいけませんが、FM-2から作れ、FM-2→F4U-1D→Night Corsair→F4U-4と改修更新で手に入るので、おすすめしたいです。
砲戦火力はMaxで16.5で少し心もとないですが、米空母だと22.5、英空母だと21程度になるので、そこそこ火力もあります。違法艦爆未所持の提督は少し検討してみてもよろしいかと思います。

震電改二Maxか震電改三に関して
改三にしようか改二Maxのままにしようか悩む人は結構いると思いますが、私の考えでは空母4編成で、例えば画像のような装備状況を作れる場合にようやく震電改三を所持してもいいかなと思います。
対空13の機体を4機作るのはかなり大変だろうけど、これだけあれば制空に余裕は出てくると思います。長いスパンで改修をしていかないといけないけど、計画を立てて一つずつコツコツとやっていけば多分大丈夫だと思います。
逆に震電改二Maxのままがいいという方は、正直震電改三を装備できる艦が限定的で、しかも、対空が下がるのでおすすめはしにくいので、そのままでもいいと思います。

#OTD in 1969, a Honduran Corsair shot down two Salvadoran Corsairs and a Mustang during the "Football War". It was the last dogfight between piston engine fighters. The U.S. Navy had retired the F4U Corsair in 1953. The Honduran Air Force continued to fly the F4U until 1979.

Genuine question here: Has anyone ever seen an actual Japanese source or something referencing a Japanese source about the F4U being nicknamed "whistling death?" It's one of those things that is very prominent in the F4U mythos, but I haven't personally come across a real source.
