There is a whole subreddit called facebookdisabledme - you could dig around to see if anyone there has had any success & documented what they did, but you want to look for UK or EU people since GDPR rules won't apply otherwise.

A recent wave of banning of accounts on Facebook and Instagram has filled communities on Reddit (facebookdisabledme etc). And so many are wrongfully disabled. They have lost years of memories including pictures and messages.
