Still baffling to me. "Fancontent event" -> "Only the content and perspectives we want" okay lmfao

To put this in perspective this is like if someone wanted to run a ffxiv fancontent event and expressly the only ship content allowed is fourchenault/ameliance, estinien/ysayle, thancred/minfilia, and gaia/ryne, and the latter is only because people would argue with them about it specifically
i may have my gripes with greater ffxiv fandom at times but it does make me warm to think about how much of a fucking firestorm this kind of thing would cause over here

CHARACTER DISCUSSION
GREENIE
Greenie, formerly GreenTom is one of my oldest designs, dating back to when I was a little kid trying to figure art out.
Like most of my pixelart endeavors, Greenie originates from Undertale fancontent, specifically a self insert AU.

Man, people who comment on fancontent just to bitch that the "wrong" character is referred to as the bottom/is bottoming in the art/fic/edit/etc. are lame af
Like preferences are whatever but don't put that kinda shit on someone's hard work 🙄

this!!! the only reason i used to feel rushed is because i’d miss out on fancontent and discussions during its peak era, but i’ve come to terms w it for most titles now 🥲

Been playing Persona 3 Reload. Been having a lot of fun with it.
Problem is, I can't check out any fancontent about it due to spoilers. I already knew going in some *major* spoilers, but I don't want to get more if I can help it.

If anyone ever wants to make fanart of my stuff I hope you treat it the same you would make fancontent of your favourite giant franchise.
Which is to say you don't consider how I feel, you make it because you want to.
Because it comforts you and lets you express yourself.
Whatever form that takes.

okay OC artists/ppl with OCs, QRP this if you're okay with surprise character fanart and what your boundaries are with that (in a general sense)

FE forever winning like is legit one of the chillest fandom's I've ever dealt with in terms of "people who create fancontent have absolutely zero shits to give" 😂

the worst part of watching a movie opening weekend that i end up really liking is that there is little to no fancontent for me to look at after the fact. because its brand new

the only proof you need is to see how theyve been treating backrooms and backrooms fancontent. if theyre itching to suppress peoples joyous creativity in the face of backrooms, what makes anyone think they wont bother doing the same to people who do fan content of scp? or even scp authors wholesale?

the rare fancontent that actually does have the scions get critical of g'raha fascinates me because in my experience its always very fixated on his hidden identity when imo that's the least egregious of his issues here
