Ferrofish Launches VERTOpro Series Of Dante Converters And Routers With ADAT And MADI
Ferrofish has announced the VERTOpro series, three compact Dante converters
that replace its long-running VERTO range. Shown at IBC 2026, the VERTOpro
MX, VERTOpro 64, and VERTOpro 32 go beyond straight format conversion,
adding a routing matrix, front-panel control, and a colour display in the
same half-rack format. We have the details.

Seconding the Ferrofish kit - we have a 16DX in our uni TV studios which is invaluable for most interfacing between the analog real world and the MADI/Dante audio backbone.

This is an organ midi controller unit that provides drawbars and a leslie rotor effect among other very specific things that are hard to get. You can hook up three midi keyboards like you'd have with a church organ, midi organ pedals, the works.

Ferrofish are amazing converters. Have an A32 hooked up to my mixer. Being able to adjust the converts voltage headroom is amazing. Lets me drive the Trident hard without clipping the converter.

Ferrofish are amazing converters. Have an A32 hooked up to my mixer. Being able to adjust the converts voltage headroom is amazing. Lets me drive the Trident hard without clipping the converter.

Started 2026 with a huge gear update: switched the entire studio to #Dante, threw in 1 additional #ferrofish and 1 #SSL convertor to finally digitalize all 40 console channels, All 12 sends and all 8 group channels. Already did 3 mixing projects and 1 recording project and the flexibility is awesome

So now the million dollar question: what audio interface are you using? I need a new one. I'm thinking RME RayDAT + ADAT AD/DA convertor like from Ferrofish, which by all reports works fine with mainline kernel drivers. But I have a desktop PC. Also don't want a USB interface occupying desk space.
