Second shawl on the green Maurice Brassard tencel warp, with Natural Dye Studio Baby Alpaca/Merino lace (2-ply) weft. This is slightly thinner than the previous, and fits better for the sett. Still a bit too compact, I think.

We're getting ready for our first out-of-town guests this weekend, so I'm spending time prepping, but still got one side of the yoke finished.

I'll add in a bit more fine-tuning (while I'm doing the opposite side) but I'm happy with this first project so far.

Prototype yarn baller. It's not perfect but it works and has taught me some things about how to do it better. And maybe it will give me the strength to get all the singles off my spindles and ply some real yarn.

Today’s WIP, 25 October 2026: Troubleshooting and improving print quality for my Tatting Toolboxes. I’ve had these frustrating pockmarks showing up on occasion and it looks like reducing my pressure advance setting fixed it.
