From the old box: 8 years ago I had just started spinning and found bought this amazing muga silk from #catandsparrowuk. Glorious sheen, pale golden color. I spun this on a tiny dropspindle. Still one of my favorite fibers.

I started dying my work and I wanted to do some yarn inspired by Pixel Pop from Neon Odyssey. I want to redo it with some silver threading and redo the color pattern for a cleaner look.

you are not the only druid I know, but my favorite moved from Upstate New York to Cornwall a couple years ago. I suspect you and my wife would get utterly NERDY on crafting, as she used to dropspindle stuff regularly.

Here is my handspun (dropspindle) Romney Marsh wool, dyed with my own woad.
An experiment using frozen woad leaves mashed up with salt and massaged still semi-forzen into the skein of wool.
It is actually slightly bluer than the photo suggests, but still on the green/teal end of blue.
