As of STF version 0.0.19, (a WIP modular 3d fileformat for gamedev) you an export models with animated IK rigs.
The resulting .stf file will contain both, the original AND the fully baked out animation!

It is MSOffice that generates problems like that by intentionally breaking compability with standards. (In this case the xml-Fileformat.

...instead the SQLite database was essentially loaded into data tables in memory (losing their 'SQL structure'). It would have made more sense to ditch SQLite as fileformat and instead use a custom format that could be dumped directly into memory.

It features a more streamlined import process, everything uses the same coordinate system as glTF 2.0, buffers can be longer than 32^2 bytes, and some bugs were fixed.

Revisiting my AnyBlox repo I have learnt that since we published our paper both the Vortex fileformat and DataFusion engine started generating their code with LLMs. Absolute fucking bollocks. Now I need to rescind any recommendations I ever gave out for this software.

I think you can force the fileformat to dos for files that end in that suffix. Then, it would be transparent to you and you could edit the file without worrying about them.
