This is Pozo Blue, a cultivar of the very finicky S. clevelandii. It’s a little less finicky, but very sensitive to overwatering. In the wild, it grows on bluffs in California.

Small thing, but I was actually pretty grateful that after his urinary tract infection, Smudge's reaction to the new and expensive prescription cat food he was put on was "cool, it's food, whatever" and not the finicky cat rejection of different food that could reasonably have been expected.
