T’au Fireknife Armored Cores are mostly done! I have some Mars texture paint on the way for the bases

They didn’t come out as I expected, and they turned more into experimentation, buuut still pretty happy with them

Finished my Armored Core 2 inspired Fireknife Crisis Suits. Complete with Mars bases… which I think I did okay-ish on. Probably over complicated them with the destroyed steel and debris.

Finished my Armored Core-inspired Fireknife Crisis Battlesuits! Very fun building and posing them, and felt I nailed the AC look.

Finished up my Sunforge Crisis Suits, and began my Fireknife suits. And going hard into Armored Core inspiration with the Fireknives.

Tried steaming again and got through a LOT of edge highlights and some cleanup on a Fireknife Crisis suit Shas'vre in my Farsight Enclaves scheme. I'm not thrilled with the results but the only way to get better is by doing it badly! #MiniaturePainting #Warhammer #Streaming

Very much WIP, but will share anyway. Got some Fireknife Crisis Suits, trying to be in the style of the Armored Core 2 cover art.

Blue quite isn’t quite right, but I have to roll with it.

T'au Crisis Suits!

These old Crisis Suits are a part of the old T'au army that I got from my friend last fall, and which I've been slowly (re)painting. In the current rules these would play as "Crisis Fireknife Battlesuits".

Your disclosure is similar to my siblings and I being secret agents in elementary school based solely on desired code names. I was “FireKnife”.

Oh, for me I just imagined her in a Battlesuit.

Between Raytheon and her movie reviews cutting like plasma she’s a classic Fireknife

Crisis battle suits of the three existing flavors. These are why I bought in to tau (although the other battlesuit kits are a lot better tbh) so I was definitely overdue on photographing them…

#warhammerCommunity #MiniPainting #wh40k #tau #CrisisBattlesuit
Starscythe battlesuits with flamers - the much much worse weapon option. Might buy more just to do them with burst cannons Sunforge suits, The absolute pimps. Love doing tiger stripe camo, simple as Fireknife suits on flight stands because I hate myself. Missile fireknifes because the plasmas aren’t very good

Chat i am not beating the fish fucker allegations
My (still very small) T'au Empire Warhammer 40K army :D The joke is that they look a little like fish people and all their vehicles are named after fish so it fits into my ongoing "bit" about being a fish fucker T'au Enforcer Commander with 3 Fireknife Crisis Battlesuits and a Devilfish. The Crisis suits are painted black and orange, and are so visually distinct from the rest of my grey, still unpainted army that it's obvious they came from somewhere else (thanks Blue!!!! 💖💖💖) My Pathfinder team and Breacher Team, with a bunch of drones alongside them!

I was a 3rd-5th ed Tau player and we had slangy community names for different suit loadouts, sunforge was 2xfusion blaster but nobody ever actually used it because Fireknife was the dominant config for forever

apparently this has changed, not only is the sunforge popular it's the official name

Last of the old models needs his flight based fixed, other than that both the Starscythe and Fireknife squad is ready for gaming and painting.

2 new Starscythes and 1 new Fireknife built, glued and coated. Had to be creative with the one on the left to get it standing; cut some bits off the sprue, placed them under his feet and will paint them as rocks.
