I was overtired and some nonsense occurred in DnD, was in a Wild Magick Zone and rolled what should have been a temp effect of Elias being small. Problem being is they are an undead -- they do not forwardly age. Sooo, yeah... now get to figure out how to fix that.

To be slightly more serious. I think there are two paths — the historic symbolic value of “the book” and the behaviourist account of reading (as self care). They are not, IMV, straight forwardly compatible.

It's more ambiguous than that.
