(Coping) saving money isn’t about income it’s about never spending more than 6 dollars CAD on a meal during work. If I can do that without getting within 10 feet of a freshslice or mcdonalds then that means my life can be good

At 71 years old I've now become a real mall rat.
Probably due to not tolerating the heat and cold anymore, plus I'm never far from a Freshslice pizza kiosk.

someone linked to it in the comments of the post but the tldr is that freshslice management was so insanely toxic that a bunch of franchisees broke their contracts and started new pizza chains (serving better pizza), and the owner of freshslice has since started aggressively competing against them
