After countless experiments and failures, my AI-assisted modding project for Gundam Gihren's Greed: Axis no Kyoui V is finally complete. I can now play this strategy game the way I've dreamed of for years. A genuinely personal milestone. #AI #GameModding

One of the most useful features I've built with AI is a manual "end battle now" function. Not infinite damage or invincibility—just the freedom to skip combat when it stops being fun. It could be useful across many single-player genres. #AI #GameModding

I have a huge backlog of games I once gave up modding because existing cheat codes didn't work. Now, AI-assisted development gives me another shot. Building the tools is fun, and playing the modified games is the reward. Old games get a second life. #AI #GameModding

I could be wrong seeing path-traced lighting in games like Fallout 3 or Dragon Age could look incredible once polished automated tools can easily break a game's atmosphere.
Whether RTX Remix works well will come down to modders dialing in every scene by hand!

RTX Remix 1.6 adds DLSS 5 to classic PC game mods
NVIDIA's RTX Remix 1.6 lets modders add DLSS 5 neural rendering to older games, plus 6X Multi Frame Generation, Windows on ARM and a Minecraft beta.

universal-modder packages skills, a CLI and the fal MCP server so an agent can recon, reverse-engineer and mod a PC game, then leave a field note for the next agent. How the loop works: https://github.com/rehan-remade/universal-modder

I didn't buy expensive gear or more games. I taught AI my workflow: goals, failure logs, proven baselines, and real tests. Now I can revive games I'd abandoned and build tools I can use alone. Time became reusable capability. #AI #GameModding

Saturn game modding used to involve CEP, emulator-specific memory addresses, and tedious configuration. Now I can use AI to analyze game memory and develop cheats without relying on CEP. No physical console needed for emulator testing. What a change. #GameModding #SegaSaturn

I used to think building my own game-modding tools was beyond my reach. Trying, observing, failing, and refining gradually changed that. Repeated experiments build practical knowledge that theory alone cannot provide. Start small, preserve evidence, and keep learning. #GameModding

I once thought building my own game-modding tools meant years of learning programming and reverse engineering. Now I can design the features, work with AI on implementation, and verify the results in-game. The tools have exceeded my expectations. #GameModding

The Nintendo Switch 2 has reportedly been jailbroken with help from OpenAI's Codex, opening the door to homebrew and game modding, but limitations remain.

When I heard Japanese cheat-code threads had been wiped out, I thought an entire way of modding games was gone. Years later, with AI, I'm building my own tools: direct unit changes, name search, and restoration. From lost codes to working tools. #GameModding

I used to depend on cheat-code forums. Now I can define what I want and use a live observer to search units, change them, and restore the original state. The leap isn't just better cheats; it's going from borrowing codes to designing my own tools. #GameModding #RetroGaming

Years ago, I was amazed that cheat codes could change game units through weapon modification. Now my own tool makes that workaround unnecessary: search units by name, change them directly, and restore them. It exceeded my own expectations. #GameModding

Both my Shiren 6 and Axis no Kyoui V modding projects have exceeded my expectations. I once relied on cheat codes from forums. Now I design my own tools with AI, and features are actually working in-game. A remarkable shift in what's possible. #GameModding

I remember when modified game saves were sold on auction sites and cheat codes came from forum experts. Now I can design my own modding tools with AI, without becoming a programmer first. The shift from buying results to directing development is incredible. #GameModding

Game modding is becoming a new workflow: use legacy cheat codes as clues, automate memory observation, let AI analyze the differences, and delegate implementation to Codex. The human focuses on real-game validation. Still experimental, but promising. #GameModding #AI
