A small but real increase in fucking kidney function is impressive. would assume recovery of at risk/penumbral glomeruli experiencing ischemic or hyperfiltration injury?
Finally it reduces hepatic insulin resistance so far that I'm not sure it can go much lower. A 55-60% reduction in fasting insulin.

Also it raised Cystatin-C based GFR by 6-10ml/min.

Legit a medical miracle/fix it all/Mary Sue ass drug as @proptermalone.bsky.social would say.

💉 Native kidney biopsy: 99% diagnostic yield in 1,384 patients.

14G vs 16G needles yielded >20 glomeruli more often (81% vs 74%), with similar complication rates (7% vs 8%).

Female sex, higher SBP & lower Hb predicted complications.

Anti-glomerular basement membrane disease: A contemporary case series from a large university hospital center - PubMed
Anti-GBM disease in this Portuguese cohort presented predominantly with severe acute kidney injury requiring RRT and was associated with poor renal recovery despite guideline-directed therapy. Histologic preservation of normal glomeruli and baseline kidney function were strongly associated with rena …

A cross-section of the olfactory bulb glows with clusters of glomeruli, the brain's first stop for sorting smell signals. A 2026 eNeuro study tracked the cells that do that sorting with two-photon imaging and found they rewire depending on how an odor is experienced.
