I keep bringing up Googleglass because it’s a reminder that widespread opprobrium is still a useful tool. If your friend says he plans on buying them, tell him they are for creeps. If someone shows up to your party with them, ask them to leave. Brand these as a product for losers and pervs.

With everything going on in the US today, increasing mass surveillance through personally filming everyone in your environment & sending the video to Google is a bad, bad outcome.

THAT SAID, I sure hope that ppl don't start carrying cans of spray paint and tagging every GoogleGlass camera they see.

Forum post entitled "What are teenagers problems with Cybertruck?" The post reads: I don't know if others have similar experience, but as I drive around in CT, most reactions are good/fun, but I've had several teenagers flip me off, yell "I hate your truck," and just today a girl roll down her window and just yell "F*ck You". Perhaps it's the storyline that they're dangerous? Or bad for the environment? Something on TikTok saying they're evil?

Là, si on commence à avoir des lunettes connectées un peu partout, on se lance sur un chemin dystopique à un niveau hallucinant. C'est la certitude, ou plutôt l'incertitude – ce qui est presque pire – d'être filmé, enregistré et analysé en permanence. Un type en cravate regarde une foule avec plein de lunettes et pense : « Un panoptique généralisé et participatif… quel pied ! »

Can you imagine the number of GoogleGlass wearers who would have to retreat from public life for 1-2 weeks just to clean all the paint they inhaled off of their nose hairs?
