First record of Hemidactylus gramineus (Gekkonidae) in Angola, with notes on its morphology, ecology and natural history

Genetic and morphological analyses confirm the identity of H. gramineus and distinguish it from its close relative H. nzingae.

I hauled out to Uji today on the train to go shopping in person at the aquatic plant specialty store. Mostly marginal plants to stabilize the shore: variegated cultivars of Acorus gramineus + calamnus, variegated cattail, lesser water plantain, fringed water-lily, water bacopa, and pearl weed.
