#half-dwarf
The lad with the hat on the right of this illustration (from White Dwarf 76 Glen Woe scenario) – are there any Citadel Miniatures that fit better than Grimwald Calaco? I swear I've seen a half-orc or something like that with a hat and cloak.

The Vera C. Rubin Observatory has found what might be a new dwarf planet in our solar system, orbiting the sun on an inclined plane past Pluto.

Carrot had a perfectly nice and wholesome but sheltered upbringing, and bent himself in half fitting in and kinda liked it. So he's just a little bit selectively dumb at times until someone hits him on the head.

Probably the kingly genetics. He's a little in-(dwarf)Bread.

Is your face symmetrical? Cut a straight-on selfie down the middle and mirror each half. My game's Dwarf heads now get the same test: 13 of 32 came out more lopsided than their sculpts, and after the fix 31 of 32 passed. #GameDev #CharacterDesign

New dwarf planet just dropped.

For now, it's called 2026 ED138. It appears to be ~1000 kilometers (600 miles) wide. If confirmed, that would make it a dwarf planet about half the size of Pluto. 🧪🔭

Bryndelle is my dnd oc!! :3 She is generally loud and boisterous but a kind soul, with a taste for booze and sweets! This half human half dwarf is quite a smart woman, and she’ll use her inventions to kick ass! Drew this on procreate. #dnd #dbd5e #dndart #ocart

Babe wake up, new dwarf planet just dropped!

Dicovered by the Rubin Observatory, "2026 ED138" (for now), is about half the size of Pluto at 1000km (600mi) wide, and is 6AU further from the Sun. It joins the other 5 known dwarf planets.

probably! They’re meant to be taken apart anyway, so there’s no reason you couldn’t do that to prolong the longevity. I was thinking it probably lasted a long time relative for a human lifespan but for an elf/half-half-dwarf/etc, it’s probably like. ugh this cheap garbage is dead after 20 years

Scientists discover new planet-like object half the size of Pluto - potentially the solar system's 6th dwarf planet
The Vera C. Rubin Observatory has found what might be a tiny new world in the far reaches of our solar system, hidden beyond the orbit of Neptune — and it is among the largest and brightest objects ever discovered beyond Neptune. If confirmed, the miniature world would increase the number of officially recognized solar system dwarf planets to six. Upper estimates of the object's size place it at more than half the diameter of Pluto, the largest known dwarf planet. "My first reaction was one of excited disbelief," Matthew Holman, an astrophysicist at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory and member of the Rubin team who wrote the code that helped discover the prospective dwarf planet, said in a statement. "Objects like this are very rare, so I immediately started checking whether I or the code had done something wrong." Hidden among stars The potential dwarf planet, designated 2026 ED138, orbits the sun at roughly 46 times the distance between Earth and the sun. The potential new planetoid has been hiding behind galactic camouflage; with its orbit tilted at a 25-degree angle from the solar system plane, it's at just the right angle to get lost in the light from the...

Hmm, probably human/dwarf. If they were half-elven we'd definitely hear more about it in the elf bible :V

Also they'd live way longer

#DunePart3 is a little over a month away and watching the new trailers I couldn't help notice there's a small but very important component of the story missing.

So I had a spur-of-the-moment idea of sloppy drawing Bijaz as I have him in my mind.

Anthropic's Rumored $2 Trillion IPO Value Would Dwarf All of South Korea's Market
Anthropic filed to go public on October 26, and a valuation near $2 trillion would equal more than half the market capitalization of companies in South Korea's benchmark KOSPI index. When Anthropic filed its S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the number that stuck wasn't the revenue or the losses. It was the rumored ceiling, with reports suggesting the company could raise as much as $100 billion at a valuation of up to $2 trillion. South Korea's benchmark KOSPI index had a combined market capitalization of roughly $3.5 trillion in October. Anthropic's rumored price tag would therefore equal more than half the value of the index's constituent companies, not exceed their combined value. The AI startup filed to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker ANT. You don't need to squint to see why that comparison landed hard in Seoul. The KOSPI itself jumped more than 3% on October 27, the day after Anthropic's filing became public, closing at 5,638.34, a 3.09% gain, as Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix rallied on hopes that AI spending keeps flowing to Korean chipmakers. The market didn't treat Anthropic's filing as a threat. It treated it as fuel. That's the strange double life...
