Who can forget the activist shareholders of the Hanoverians

The Plantagenets were bonkers, sure. But the Hanoverians? That is another thread….

Regular reminder this is a JACOBITE account, Hanoverians do not interact.

Originalists would be better if they seriously studied English constitutionalism from the Stuarts to the Hanoverians.

The Plantagenet family have entered the chat…

And William of Orange…

The Hanoverians…

Saxe-Coburgs…

Phil the Greek…

Hi everyone, I thought we’d sorted this out with Mrs Simpson and that woman off Suits.

Everyone loves a good flock.

that’s right, reject those Hanoverians for a new golden age of Stuart reign!
I can’t hate it
July 24, 2026 at 10:28 PM
No Hanoverians, Huguenots, Flemish, Normans, Angles, Saxons, Jutes, Romans or the rest of the riff-raff!

When the Hanoverians were in charge of both Britain and a big chunk of Germany they should have made the Germans use English grammar and the British use German spelling.

English guy who grew up under the Hanoverians thinks England & Brunswick are the only two truly white places, wow, so incisive
July 20, 2026 at 2:29 AM
Ninety years between those photograph, but honestly, under the Hanoverians, who could really expect change?

Hobby update time and there's a bit of this and a bit of that, mostly finishing off some Hanoverians, another third rate ship for the RN, and the first outing for the King's African Rifles in Chain of Command. It's been busy, check it out here:

Me, buying books of uniform colour references for Napoleonic miniatures: "Where the FUCK are the Hanoverians?!" 😅
March 2, 2025 at 10:24 AM
And then the Dutch in 1688, and the Hanoverians are still here.

Not that we're saying the Hanoverians were smart, mind you. 🇺🇸 = 🚫👑
That’s it.

It's all gone ship-shaped in this latest hobby update, there's a bit of land lubber stuff in the shape of some Hanoverians, but it's mostly Napoleonic Ships & The Full Nelson, along with a trip to Bosworth & Partizan thrown in for good measure. Check it all out here: #wargaming

Many pubs claim to be Scotland’s oldest including contenders in Leith, but the renowned Sheep's Heid established in 1360 also has the distinction of being the place that Bonnie Prince Charlie rested with his officers while drawing up their plans to capture the city of Edinburgh from the Hanoverians.

If people don't like it when you sing your Jacobite songs, they might be Hanoverians.

'Identifiably English' in those 'long lines of kings and queens', anyone? Invading Danes and Normans, French Plantagenets, Welsh Tudors, Scottish Stuarts, German Hanoverians....And that's not including royal consorts from Spain, Portugal etc
Back in 2021, Nick Timothy wrote this for the Telegraph.

There's a man, if ever I saw one, whose entire political philosophy seems to have been plagiarised from the picture on the box of one of those nostalgia jigsaw puzzles.

It’s so dumb! “OH WE MUST PREVENT THE RETURN OF THE HANOVERIANS!"
September 29, 2023 at 2:27 AM
Yeah all those Saxons, Angles, Jutes, vikings, Normans, Huguenots, Dutch, Hanoverians, etc

Culloden Battlefield. Combat was between Hanoverians & Stuarts in 1746. English and Scots fought in both armies. It's a historical site & memorial to those lost lives, where today tourists relive the past.

Sane washing they're sanewashing the mad "king". If the US media had exercised the same diligent subservience with the Hanoverians in the 18th Century as they do the current POTUS, every state name would probably end in -shire.
