Hosting a workshop today at the Olympia Theatre — opened decades before color photography was common.

Not the most ornate theater ever built — just better than almost everything going up now

The Embassy Theatre in Port Chester, NY—an absolute dream to shoot. There was a fire escape door in the balcony that let in the most dramatic natural light. It was gutted because why preserve something awesome when you can destroy it instead? #abandoned #HistoricTheatre #WhyCantWeHaveNiceThings

462 years on and Shakespeare’s enduring legacy leaves its mark not just on our theatre stages but on our theatre buildings too.

Totally missed the anniversary of the other Kings Theatre—opened December 8, 1906, in Edinburgh. Second best, obviously. Still can’t decide if that ceiling mural is art or just… there.
