I kinda feel like after blockchain, crypto and NFTs, tech bros are trying to speedrun the Gartner hypecycle to try to get to profitability quicker (i.e. fleece more before “trough of disillusionment”)
But it occurred to me that this whole enterprise of making sense of AI needs to be framed in the context of the messiness of AI itself, and AI boosters' overwhelming, promiscuous and disjointed Gish Gallop.

Real working people should care more about the upcoming launch of the Slate EV for its affordability, customization, and utility. We need real world solutions that work with our budgets and fit in our social fabric than another "enthusiast" $0.5M hypecycle car with a label.
